Saint James Orthodox Church is a parish within the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America, under the supervision of Bishop Thomas of Charleston, Oakland, and the Mid-Atlantic. Established as a mission in 2006,
our parish has grown into a welcoming and active Orthodox Christian community.
Whether you are a member of the Orthodox faithful or simply exploring the faith, you are warmly invited to join us. Our services are in English and are family friendly.

It is with great sadness, yet with faith in Christ’s Resurrection, that we share the passing of our beloved parish priest.
He served our community with love, dedication, and faith, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We invite you to read the official announcement from the Archdiocese for more details by clicking here.
Please keep his family and our parish in your prayers.
Memory eternal.

For the 2nd quarter in 2026, we will be collecting canned tuna, canned chicken, canned salmon and spam.
Donations can be dropped off in the Parish Hall.

This ministry is dedicated to creating and donating handmade baby hats and blankets to Carroll Hospital's Family Birth Place. Volunteers gather in fellowship to knit these items, which are then lovingly distributed to newborns and their families, providing warmth and care during a special time of life.
